Mary is a Board Certified OB-GYN/Adult Nurse Practitioner and Colposcopist with over 30 years clinical experience.  She is a Fellow in the American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP) and a former Associate Professor of Nursing.  She graduated from UCLA with a Masters Degree in Nursing.  She is a member of the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants.

As a professor, she taught medical /surgical nursing, labor and delivery, post partum and nursery and numerous classes in physical assessment at the Baccalaureate level. Her in depth  knowledge  of medical and nursing care has provided her with the expertise in diagnosing, treating and prescribing medications  for her patients as a Nurse Practitioner. She brings to the table expertise in assessing and treating health issues on an  individual client basis and is able to quickly review the patient's medical records for prior health issues that may affect the client's current complaints.  She recently has added geriatric care to her list of expertise along with Medical Review for Insurance Carriers. She also works with UCLA reviewing and editing women's health care protocols. She  trains UCLA medical students in the performance of gynecological examinations.
She joined a team of physicians on a medical mission to provide medical care to the general public and to educate the medical nursing staff on the preparation and performance of gynecological pap smears.
